Product Overview

The LCD Application Board is an add-on tool for Renesas Starter Kits where the microcontroller is equipped with a direct LCD peripheral driver (for example the Renesas Starter Kit for H8/38347). It is designed to be plugged into the main Renesas Starter Kit board and all the necessary software is already included with the Renesas Starter Kit.

  • 8 character 14 segment "starburst" LCD.
  • Mountings for direct application to the Renesas Starter Kit.
  • Interface to standard LCD expansion connector and Renesas Starter Kit expansion connections.
  • Battery coin cell holder for low power testing.
