Overview

This is a series of 32-bit microcomputers which incorporate the SH-4A, the high-end CPU core in the SuperH Family. The SH-4A instruction set is fully SH-4 upward compatible. The operating frequency of the SH-4A is much faster than that of the existing SH-4 CPU core. It uses four-way set-associative instruction cache memory and four-way set-associative operand cache memory. Furthermore, the SH-4A CPU core incorporates an FPU that supports both single-precision and double-precision arithmetic operations. Also, hardware support for sine/cosine arithmetic operations contributes to high-speed rendering of 3-D graphics.

The SH7723 (SH-MobileR2) is a system LSI that incorporates SH-4A CPU coreoperating at maximum frequency of 400MHz, FPU (Floating-point Processing Unit),cache memory (primary and secondary), DDR-SDRAM controller, VPU5(VideoProcessing Unit 5), 2D graphics accelerator, video I/O, LCD controller, ATAPIinterface, TS interface and sound input/output etc.


SH7724

The SH7724 (SH-MobileR2R) is a system LSI that incorporates SH-4A CPU coreoperating at maximum frequency of 500MHz, FPU (Floating-point Processing Unit),cache memory (primary and secondary), DDR2/MobileDDR-SDRAM controller, VPU5(VideoProcessing Unit 5), 2D graphics accelerator, video I/O, LCD controller, ATAPIinterface, TS interface and sound input/output,10M/100MbpsEthernet etc.


SH7730

The SH7730 uses an SH-4A CPU core with a maximum operating frequency of 266MHz. The SH7730 has an on-chip bus state controller (BSC) that allowsconnection to synchronous DRAM.This LSI is also built in with a variety ofperipheral functions such as direct memory access controller (DMAC), timer, sixserial communication interfaces, A/D converter and I/O ports.


SH7731

The SH7731 incorporates SH4AL-DSP CPU core operating at maximum frequency of 333.4MHz, cache memory and RAM (148kB). Particularly, it has LCD controller for XGA as maximum size and USB 2.0 high-speed host & function.


SH7763

The SH7763 incorporates a 32-bit SH-4A CPU core and operates at a maximumoperating frequency of 266 MHz. In addition, this LSI includes peripheralfunctions such as a gigabit Ethernet controller, PCI bus controller and asecurity accelerator, moving image stream interface.


SH7764

SH7764 incorporates SH-4A and operates at maximum of 324MHz. SH7764 alsoincorporates peripheral functions including 2D graphics, display function(LCDC/digital RGB), ATAPI, NAND, Flash memory controller, USB, EtherMAC, SSIand etc.


SH7780

The SH7780 uses an SH-4A core with maximum oprating frequency of 400MHz. It also incoporetes on-chip cache memory, an on-chip PCI bus controller, a DDR-SDRAM controller, a local bus controller, and a wide range of peripheral functions such as DMAC, SCIF, RTC, TMU, etc.

The SH7780 uses an SH-4A core with maximum oprating frequency of 400MHz. It also incoporetes on-chip cache memory, an on-chip PCI bus controller, a DDR-SDRAM controller, a local bus controller, and a wide range of peripheral functions such as DMAC, SCIF, RTC, TMU, etc.


SH7781

SH7785

The SH7785 uses a SH-4A core with a maximum operating frequency of 600MHz.It also incorporates on-chip cache memory, a DDR2-SDRAM controller, a displaycontroller, a local bus controller, a PCI bus controller, and a wide range ofperipheral functions such as DMAC, SCIF, TMU, etc.


SH7786

The architecture of the SH-4A CPU core of the SH7786 supports multi-core configuration.  In addition, the SH7786 has a display controller, DMA controller and other built-in peripheral functions.
