Overview

SH7200 Series is a set of products that feature an SH-2A CPU core. The SH-2A instruction set is fully upwardly-compatible with SH-1 and SH-2, and it also adopts new instructions such as Data Transfer Instruction and Operation Instruction. Superscalar architecture adapted for SH-2A enables the SH7200 Series to execute multiple instructions at the same time, greatly increasing its processing performance compared with the conventional SH-1 and SH-2.
In addition, SH7200 Series are equipped with equivalent modules to SH-1 and SH-2, in order to ensure smooth upgrading to SH-2A. They incorporate FPU, which support single-precision and double-precision floating-point arithmetics, enabling high-speed signal processing.

SH7201

The SH7201 is a high-performance microcontroller, incorporating an SH2A-FPUcore. This LSI operates at a maximum operating frequency of 120MHz.It incorporates FPU, which supports single-precision and double-precision,and which enable high signal processing performance. In addition, this LSIincludes peripheral functions such as a multifunction timer for motor control,a CAN controller, a serial communication interface with a 16-stage FIFO and anI2C bus interface.


SH7203

The SH7203 is a high-performance microcontroller, incorporating an SH2A-FPUcore. This LSI operates at a maximum operating frequency of 200MHz.It incorporates FPU supporting single-precision and double-precision, andwhich enables high signal processing performance. This LSI incorporates a USBstandard v2.0 High Speed (480 Mbps) specification Host and Functioninterface.
In addition, this LSI includes periheral functions such as an A/D converter anda timer suitable for industrial applications.


SH7205

The SH7205 is a multi-core microcontroller incorporating two SH-2A FPU CPU cores for consumer and industrial applications. The SH7205 operates at maximumfrequency of 200MHz. The SH7205 incorporates a USB v2.0 High Speed (480 Mbps) specification interface, an ATAPI interface, a NAND flash memory interface, a2D engine with video input capability, and analog RGB output for video output.


SH7206

The SH7206 is a set of ROMless products with a maximum operating frequencyof 200MHz. With 128 Kbytes of on-chip RAM to which both read and write accessescan be accomplished in a single clock cycle, the SH7206 Group maximizes theperformance of 200 MHz operating frequency. The SH7206 adopts industrialmodules such as a Multifunction Timer and A/D Converter, and also communicationmodules such as an SCI and an I2C.
