M16C/5M, M16C/57 Group

M16C/5M and M16C/57 are an enhanced version of M16C/5L Group, and are suitable for automotive applications. M16C/5M and M16C/57 incorporate a voltage detector (2 voltage detection points), a PLL frequency synthesizer, a high-speed on-chip oscillator, an input capture/output compare timer, a task monitoring timer, real-time clock, a multi-master I2C bus interface, an 8-bit D/A converter, a serial bus interface, a LIN module, CAN modules (except for M16C/57) in addition to the standard peripherals. Maximum operating frequency is 32MHz when using PLL Frequency Synthesizer. 64-pin, 80-pin, and 100-pin packages are available. Data Flash (4KB × 2 blocks) is embedded. Products embedded with E2dataFlash (4 KB) are also available.


M16C/5L, M16C/56 Group

M16C/5L and M16C/56 are an expanded function version of M16C/29 Group, and are suitable for automotive applications. Voltage Detector (2 voltage detection points), PLL Frequency Synthesizer, High-speed On-chip Oscillator, Input Capture/Output Compare Timer, Task Monitoring Timer, Real-time Clock, Multi-Master I2C bus Interface, CAN Module (except for M16C/56), are added to standard peripherals.
