Overview
  • The H8/300L Series is a series of single-chip microcomputers (MCU:microcomputer unit), built around the high-speed H8/300L CPU and equipped with peripheral system functions on-chip.
    • Employs the proprietary Renesas H8/300L 8-bit CPU.
    • On-chip peripheral functions suitable for the consumer product and communications equipment fields.
    • Vacuum fluorescent display (VFD) controller/driver.
    • LCD controller/driver.
    • I2 C-bus interface.
    • Complete instruction set compatibility with the H8/300 CPU, allowing effective utilization of software resources.
    • Minimum instruction execution time: 0.4μs (f = 10MHz) . 8-bit and 16-bit addition and subtraction: 0.4μs . 8-bit・8-bit multiplication: 2.8μs . 16-bit / 8-bit division: 2.8μs

The H8/3614 is a member of the H8/300L series of low power 8/16-bit CPU's.


H8/3627 Group

The H8/3627 Group features on-chip DTMF generator and reduced electromagnetic noise emission.


H8/3637 Group

The H8/3637 Group features on-chip DTMF generator and reduced electromagnetic noise emission.


H8/3644 Group

The H8/3644 Group features numerous peripheral functions for an excellent cost to performance ratio and has on-chip asynchronous SCI, 16K, 24K, or 32K of F-ZTAT™ ROM.


H8/3657 Group

The H8/3657 Group features 2.2V low-voltage operation and has on-chip asynchronous SCI and general-purpose 80-pin.


H8/3714 Group

The H8/3714 Group features VFD display output, on-chip A/D converter.


H8/3724F

The H8/3724 series is in Mass Production however we would not recommend that you use it in new designs.


H8/38024

The H8/38024 is a new member of the Hitachi H8/300L Super Low Power family.


H8/3814 Group

The H8/3814 Group features an on-chip liquid crystal display (LCD) controller/driver and an on-chip A/D.


H8/3834 Group

The H8/3834 series is in Mass Production and is fully available.


H8/3834U Group

This group is supported only for the customers who have already adopted anyof the products. For new adoption, please consider H8/3847R, 3847S, 38347,38447 Group products.
